Adding and editing customers

Managing your customers is an excellent start to growing your business as they are the main part of a company's growth. This section give you a simple step by step guide to manage your customer's details and their orders.

To access your customer details

  1. Click on the "Shop Orders" tab on the left hand side of the webconsole and select "Customers". You are now in the customers order area, in this section you are able to view your customer details.
  2. You are able to sort your customers by clicking on an individual field name used to display the list of customers across the top ("Name", "Email", "Order Count", "Amount").
  3. You can search for your customer's details by typing a name in the "Name" field or an email address in the "Email" field in the search bar near the top.
  4. To delete customers, click on the customer name and click on the "Delete" button.
  5. To view or edit your customer details select the customer and click on the "Edit" button. This will bring up the "Customer Details" form where you can change the necessary fields and click "Save".

Add a new customer

  1. Click on the "Shop Orders" tab in the webconsole, then "Customers" and then click the "Add Customer" button.
  2. Fill in all the fields in the "Customer Details" form:
    • Company: Please enter the name of the company the customer belongs to (if applicable)
    • First Name: Please enter the customer's first name
    • Last Name: Please enter the customer's last name
    • Email: This field will need to include the customer's email address, which will also be the customer's access user name
    • Password: Please assign a password for your customer
    • Mobile Phone: Please enter the customer's mobile phone number
    • Note: Add any notes for the customer (if applicable) 
    • Price List: Select a relevant price list (if applicable)
  3. Check all details to make sure its accurate and click the "Save" button to add the customer to the system.

You can also view a customer's orders by selecting a customer, clicking the "Edit" button, and selecting the "Orders" tab.
