Editing Donation Settings and Donation Causes
The Donation tool is a great way to collect monetary donations through your website for multiple causes. This article will teach you how to check received donations.
To Edit Donation Settings:
- Click on the Donations tab when you are logged in to your website account.
- Click the Settings tab at the top of the Donations screen. You will see the Donation Settings screen, below:
- Minimum Donation Amount - Minimum amount that someone can donate.
- Invoice Template - Template layout for the invoice.
- Specify Donation Causes - Donation causes are listed here so people have the option of which cause they would like to donate to. You can click remove alongside a cause to delete it. or click Add Another to add a new cause.
- Send Thank you Email - Gives you the option to send an automatic email to people who donate. Upon selecting Yes, you will be given a text box to enter your own message.
- Send Receipt Email - Sends the donator a receipt email after finalising their payment.
- Click Save to save any changes.
